And the answer is ..................................................... this is the Rathaus on the Marienplatz in Munich, Germany, capital of Bavaria. Munich is the third largest German city after Berlin and Hamburg. The Rathaus is home to a famous glockenspiel.

The 1972 Munich Summer Olympics resulted in the death of eleven Israelis, a West German policeman and five of the eight Palestinian attackers.
