There are now dedicated galleries on EarthPhotos.com for the two new destinations on our most recent trip: the Ascension Island Gallery and the St. Helena Island Gallery. We're still posting photos to them, and probably will be for another month or so.
Here's a new favorite. We hired a man named Hensel Peters, who drove us all around St. Helena one morning. Quirky little island, obviously not quite like your tropical paradise kind of places, but neither quite like your more verdant Irelands and New Zealands.
This is a tiny road way out at the back of the island on a high ridge over the Atlantic Ocean, which is off to your left. You can tell it by the way the prevailing winds have shaped some of the trees. There's a larger, higher-res version in the EP gallery.
