One quick note from Ascension Island before we fly away. Took a drive around today and saw, among other striking landscapes, this one:
Heading for England on the overnight RAF/MoD flight, now scheduled for in the morning. If that holds, we'll have more to say from there, where we'll stay until Sunday. Saw a turtle laying eggs last night on the beach. Want to wait until there's time to give that it's due.
