How badly tourism in India has been hurt by the terror attacks depends on what you read.
In an article titled Mumbai Tourism Fights Back, the Independent claims it's business as usual. But ArabianBusiness.com says people are scared, and VOANews.com declares that India's Tourism Industry Faces Slump. DNAIndia.com says the Tourism Ministry is ready to go overboard to set things right.
Express India points out that medical tourism has taken a hit. Then again, The Times of India points out that tourism is not among the top industries in India. Meanwhile the Trident Hotel has reopened, and the Taj's Tower has reopened (with the Heritage Wing due to reopen in September after extensive renovation).

national security adviser, Mahmud Ali Durrani, acknowledged that Kasab is a Pakistani citizen, he was sacked within hours.
