Funny, two of the three favorite photos right now as voted by users at EarthPhotos.com, of over 10,000 photos from all around the world, are co-incidentally both from the Cappadocia region of Turkey. One of them is shown here, a landscape of flowering apricot trees.

The new most popular photo is a view looking south along the cliffs at Watson's Bay near Sydney, Australia. It's the first HDR ever to be voted Most Popular.

It's about 6:15 a.m. and the sun has just risen out of the Pacific, so its rays are hitting the cliffs nearly horizontally, which sets up that nice warm yellow color.
